English

Are you planning to go to New York on business? Or are you attending medical school and need to memorize medical phrases? Or do you simply want to go traveling?

In all these situations, knowing the English language is invaluable. It is the language of global business, of science, and is by far the most widely known second language. Even if you never leave your country, chances are that you will encounter foreigners that do not speak your language, but do speak English. If you have read this far, you obviously can understand some English, but we will help you improve your speaking skills, listening skills, build your vocabulary, or brush up on your grammar.

For many, English is no longer an option: it is a must. If you would like to take a short quiz, you may click here; or you can also schedule a free call to learn more by writing us at info@estay.org.

Latin

If I were asked what, of all the things I was ever taught, has been of the greatest practical use to me, I should have to answer: the Latin Grammar.” ~Dorothy Sayers

Learning Latin not only allows you to understand what the Romans of old and many Church Fathers said, but also to better understand English. Over half of the words in English have Latin roots. Latin is a very orderly language, and learning it helps you think more systematically.

It will serve as a gateway to other romance languages, such as French, Spanish, and Italian, as well as to courses like logic, rhetoric, and even math. And some more good news: Latin can be learned from a very young age and is an excellent subject for children as young as six or younger.

German

Germany—land of poets and philosophers, automobiles and athletes. What makes this country special? For those who want to travel or do business in Europe, become scientists, or study theology, German is one of the most important languages to learn.

If you’re interested in missions, it’s also a good language to know. Many of the world’s missionaries are German, and the Land of the Reformation needs missionaries, too.

Even if you simply want to expand your mental abilities, German is a good option: with its systematic and orderly grammar, it will help increase your IQ. Learning German is not only for teenagers and adults, but also great for children.
